Loose Ends

There are a couple of loose ends from yesterday's carpet bombing which must be tied up.

Who knew?
Remember in the history post how I mentioned Kaplan and Zinoviev?  I forgot to ask a question that was patently obvious, but very telling;

How many of you knew who Kaplan and Zinoviev were?  Another lesson to be learned.

When the pawns are consumed by their own King, they are forgotten.

Orwell called a person like this an unperson

Stalin and Nikolai Yezhov, proud NKVD Great Purger

Stalin and ... Nikolai who...comrade?
I wonder who might disappear from official pictures in the years ahead?

"Find the King"
One commenter felt that I gave Barry O too much credit.  He's a pawn.  Find the King, he instructed.

An excellent point that I only briefly touched on in what was already a lengthy essay.

How in the hell did we wind up with Obama as Pres__ent anyway?  Quite simply, Hillary is her own cult of personality.  But since her campaign for President started in 2000, even the Democrats were sick of her by the time 2008 rolled around.  The Democrats saw in Obama, a way to displace Hillary and still claim to be holding to their ideals.  So they did.

They replaced one cult of personality with another one that sounded better.  But Obama is turning out to be worse than they ever imagined Hillary could be.  By the way, is it just me or has every succeeding Democratic party nominee for President been worse than the one before?  Carter, Mondale, Dukakis, Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Obama.  (Don't remind me about McGovern, I'm on a frickin roll here!)

Now in 2010, even the left is feeling buyer's remorse.  What to do?  This is where that king comment comes in to provide us another lesson.

The kingmakers who made the mistake of crowning this particular cult of personality will eventually make an even bigger mistake when they displace/replace him with another cult of personality.

You can almost take that to the bank (if it were solvent and the FDIC wasn't already broke.  HAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAAAAAHAHAAAA!!!!!!!!!!   Whew.  Deep breath!  Sorry, a little doomer humor just snuck up on me there.)

So who is their next cult of personality? Maybe someone just like Obama who appears moderate in his public and private life. Everything's just perfect. The wife and the kids. Family man, no troubles, no scandals, no controversy. A sleeper who's just waiting to awake.  In the same mold as Obama, the next COP (sorry, it's time to abbreviate), could be highly groomed to appear to be the most perfect in those areas where there is the most to hide.  The occasional flaw and foible indicate humanity.  Someone whose image is zero flaws is still human, he's just trying to hide part of it.

Keep in mind that the further they go down this path, of trading in one COP for another, the less room for "buyer's remorse" there will be.  The bigger the cult of personality is, the less room they have for dissent, criticism, satire, debate, etc.  For all of us, this will translate to an even worse leader.  Maybe the problem isn't the kings they keep trotting out, but the kingmakers who crown them.

Those kingmakers need to read and heed the warning.  Release a COP big enough to eat all of their enemies and he'll eat them too.

Antichrist?
Barry O, The AntiChrist?  Seriously?  HusseinO isn't even worthy to tie the AntiChrist's shoelaces. It might be said that Barack must decrease so that the AntiChrist can increase.  Just saying.  Nobody I know wants to bring physical harm to Obama.  First it wouldn't help our cause.  Second-as previously discussed, the COP to be named later will almost certainly be worse.

But in all that he does, I do believe that he's preparing the way for this AntiChrist.

Unlike John the Baptist though, Obama will argue his own importance and greatness to the COP who will displace/replace him.  In that case, though he is his own COP, Obama will truly be just one more pawn in the game.  Maybe he should read my warning too.

Remember, it's not a threat.  It's not a prediction.  It's not a call to action.  It's all settled history that has been repeated many times.  It has all happened before and will happen again.  This time, it will happen to you.

We're the Only Ones Negotiating With Gangs Enough

Karl Denninger cuts dead center with this piece about Chicago and their solutions to gang problems.

More Dumb - Chicago
Police Supt. Jody Weis was accused Monday of "negotiating with urban terrorists" when he met secretly with West Side gang leaders at the Garfield Park Conservatory Aug.17 to pressure them to stop the bloodbath on Chicago streets.

What's the difference between an urban terrorist and an ordinary one? The last time I checked "terrorist" was a rather-generic term, and applied to those who used violence or the threat thereof directed at the general population to get what they want.
Read the rest.  They are in power, but outmuscled.  And this is the strategy they have for "winning" with gangs.  Perhaps they need to read my warning to the collectivists.

If we applied Obama's Iraq strategy here, then we'd be withdrawing from Chicago to leave it for the gangs.  (And if it really does happen that way, don't say I didn't warn you.)

Maybe if they got more of our tax dollars they could protect us from the gangs who want to take all our money. (again, if it really does happen this way...)

They are coming...

Fair Warning To The Collectivists

In light of the previous post regarding Fanya Kaplan and the chain of events she set off, on this day in 1918, I thought it was an appropriate time to post this. This was developed as a warning to those who may have ... how shall we say, "drunk the Kool-Aid".  It is a description of what your own will do to you.

To collectivists near and far, wherever you are and whatever you do; This letter is for you. This is not a threat. This is not a prediction. This is not a call to action. It is settled history that has been repeated many times. It has all happened before and will happen again. This time, it will happen to you.

Right now, things seem to be going pretty well for your side. Your President has rammed through a Health Care bill that will cover the nation with thousands of pages of legislation, regulation, taxation, and consternation that will last for decades. Because of the sheer volume of this bill, clever collectivists among you have even worked in requests and items that have absolutely nothing to do with health care.

Your friends wield power in both houses of Congress, the White House, and lack only another vote on the Supreme Court to hold all the levers of government power. You deem budgets to have been passed without so much as a vote. You can advocate for building a mosque on the hole in the ground where the world's tallest buildings once stood and several thousand people died-then call for investigations into those who dare to disagree. All with no consequence.

Even better, your political appointees are rapidly filling up the ranks of civil service and unelected, unappointed, unaccountable Czars are pulling the levers-presumably outside the reach of any oversight.

Academia belongs to you without a doubt. Name a PhD who is not a liberal, and you could surely name a dozen others who are. You indoctrinate the children and train the teachers who teach the children.

In the media, your friends control all the major outlets and have the biggest megaphones and the biggest muzzles. You trumpet every lie you hear against your foes no matter how demonstrably false. Your journolists hide and ignore stories that tell the truth about your friends-carefully controlling the message and the narrative making sure no crisis is wasted.

In science, your friends "hide the decline" to preserve an outcome regardless of facts.

In the way of insolvent institutions, there's Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Since entitlement spending has been declared mandatory, there's apparently no way to ever decrease or slow the spending in those areas. The fact that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were run by your own friends who took bonuses while crashing those two entities is cute as well. However, an economic crash of unprecedented proportions is coming where every benefit paid to every person will either come to a screeching halt or be absolutely worthless. And yet it troubles none of you collectivists that these people who will be hurt hardest by this coming crash are your primary voting bloc.

In finance, your friends had the gall to hold a gun to Congress' head and demand a bailout. We'd see tanks in the street if they weren't bailed out immediately. No discussion or debate could be allowed. These crooks were rewarded for this extortion. Their losses were passed on to The Productive. Their guilt was applied to all banks who took the TARP money. And their crimes went unpunished. Better yet, those same financiers who are benefitting from 0% interest are refusing to actually loan that money to the same public whom they just soaked with the bailouts they were given. As a result of this criminal enterprise, capital has fled the markets and unemployment has soared. Worse, you and your friends threaten to increase taxes to satisfy the insatiable appetite for federal spending.

On the menu for tomorrow, you've already floated the possibility of the Government redirecting several trillion dollars worth of money from 401ks and IRAs into treasury bonds. Why? Because not even 100% taxation could satisfy the collectivists desires for money and power. Some wise people may instead choose to redirect their funds from those 401ks into simple bank accounts. When they do, they'll take a huge tax hit as well as a penalty. Those poor souls who transfer from the 401k to the bank will be hosed one more time because when the banks go under, they'll find out that FDIC really is insolvent (sorry, forgot to mention that earlier) and all those funds disappear as well.

Thanks to these victories, you stand poised to utterly eliminate The Productive as a force that you must reckon with.

And as if the decline of The Productive weren't happening fast enough, in Port Chester, NY a judge recently awarded 6 votes to one person for Hispanics. A great trend you will certainly enjoy after some form of amnesty for illegal aliens is enacted. And it doesn't hurt that the South-the primary opposition to your plans is still saddled with Section V of the Voting Rights act whereby they cannot even draw their own voting districts without approval from the Federal Government-yet another chance to dilute the opposition.

For all of you collectivists, I have bad news; The joke is on you.

As many portions of our society have been compromised and corrupted by your philosophy, you have it in your head that all opposition will be eliminated and you and your collectivist friends will be able to rule together forever in your collectivist utopia. You are the change you've waited for. You're wrong.

In your lust to rule, you have unleashed a cult of personality that holds no ideal except himself alone.  He has no rules except, "win".  He has no foes that he respects and no friends that he doesn't consume.  Doubt me?  Consider Shirley Sherrod as the latest example.  Having decided to fire her, the White House didn't invite her to have a beer in the garden and talk about race.  The President called her for 7 minutes and that was that.  They want this story to go away. The media-which furiously ran in circles trying to cover themselves on the "Sherrod story" is already done with her. Consider, Jeremiah Wright.  Obama needed street-cred to make it into power. To go any higher though, street cred was a liability, not an asset.  Once Obama became a US Senator and a player on the national scene, Wright's utility ended.  Consider all of Obama's documents. School records, passport, birth certificates, et al. Once he became President they were all effectively erased because their utility was ended. Consider the press themselves.  Having sold themselves out as journowhores to this man, they now petulantly demand their payment. For Obama, friends are only useful until victory is achieved.  Beyond that, they are rivals and competitors for attention, power, money, and glory.  Sic Semper Tyrannis. Understand Obama and you already know what the future holds.

When you take away or destroy the property, assets, hopes, dreams, and rights that The Productive have, then the only thing left is rage. The day is coming when this will be poured out by the bucketful. When that happens, you'll kill a lot of The Productive. But they will also kill a lot of you. This bloodbath might trouble the conscience of honorable men. But then you are neither honorable, nor men. You have no thought that anyone might dare resist or that you might become a target yourself. This is not a threat. This is not a prediction. This is not a call to action. It is settled history that has been repeated many times. It has all happened before and will happen again. This time, it will happen to you.

As the open conflict begins to rage, your President will be just as pleased with your deaths as he will the deaths of The Productive. Publicly, he will shed tears at your funerals and console your families. Back at the house though, he'll laugh at the instant replay with his friends.

You have sworn allegiance to an ideal. But the President you serve knows no other ideal than himself. You are not vital. You are expendable. You are pawns. Kings don't mourn the loss of pawns.

For those of you who survive this conflict, I have even more bad news.

When all the dust settles and the last drops of blood trickle into the storm drains from the streets, you will hoist your cup in victory and glory. If you survive this long, the celebration will be short lived. Once your dear leader has used you to help eliminate a stout, principled, productive, armed opposition, he'll have no trouble at all eliminating flaccid, unprincipled, unproductive, unarmed friends.

"But wait, I'm vital! I'm loyal because I stuck with the dear leader through the bloodiest part of the conflict. I'm reliable because I have done all manner of evil deeds in the name of the leader. I'm indispensable and powerful in the leader's court!" You will protest all this to your dear leader. In so doing, you pronounce your own indictment. You're a rival to him. The evil leader is bent on collecting all power to himself and will suffer no rival or challenge. Again, the joke's on you. Any system that you were previously a part of-be it judicial, financial, legislative, academic, scientific, religious will be discarded as a result of the conflict with The Productive. Why? Because your dear leader himself is the system. You mean nothing. Your opinion is nothing. Your institutions and establishments are nothing. All that matters are the wishes of your dear leader himself. You exist solely to carry out his wishes in all areas of your life. That's what you signed up for when you bowed yourselves to this cult of personality.

At that point, you will be eliminated not by your enemy (whom you claim to have defeated), but by your dear leader that you've sworn your life to. This is not a prediction. This is not a call to action. This is history that has all happened before and will happen again. This time, it will happen to you.

Hitler rose to power on the backs of the SA. Once in power, their utility was finished and they were a threat to overthrow him. He cleaned them out. Lenin and Stalin both carried out internal purges of many who were close to them and instrumental in helping to form the Soviet Union. Mao began a cultural revolution in the 1960s that killed God only knows how many "loyal communists" who just happened to be rivals of Mao's. Saddam Hussein and other tyrants like him have had similar purges on smaller scales to ensure that loyalty and allegiance are sworn not to an ideal, but to the leader himself. Your dear leader will laugh as you and your families are put to death and then send your surviving relatives a bill for the bullets. His only goal is power, glory, and adulation for himself. This is not a prediction. This is not a call to action. This is history that has all happened before and will happen again. This time, it will happen to you.

And if you should come to your senses and struggledear leader, who will you turn to in that day to help you? If you survive, you're an accomplice to the death of The Productive. Any of The Productive who survive will be down low, well-armed, wily, and suspicious. Do you expect to receive help from them? You urinate on the graves of our Founding Fathers. You defecate on the ideals of liberty and freedom and wipe your butt with the Constitution that those founders bled and died for. You have no lofty ideals that you can invoke to generate support or even a basis for your emerging struggle against your dear leader. If you are able to replace your dear leader at all, you will replace him with another-even more brutal cult of personality. Good luck with that.

If you come to your senses at all, it must be now. While there is still daylight, you can renounce your misdeeds, beg forgiveness for the nation and people you have betrayed, and go home to find honest, productive work to prevent this from happening.

If you do not come to your senses, then you will ultimately die by your own dear leader's hand, whining your innocence before your executioners. You'll shout your support for the dear leader, begging for your life. With your last breath, you'll curse the day that you heard and ignored this truth. This is not a threat. It is not a prediction. It is not a call to action. It is settled history that has been repeated many times. It has all happened before and will happen again. This time, it will happen to you.

On this date in history; 8-30-18

Fanny Kaplan shot and wounded Bolshevik leader Vladimir Lenin, helping to spark the Red Terror in the Soviet Union.

About Kaplan:

Kaplan was born into a Jewish family, one of seven children. She became a political revolutionary at an early age and joined a socialist group, the Socialist Revolutionaries (Esers).
later...
Kaplan became disillusioned with Lenin as a result of the conflict between the Socialist Revolutionaries and the Bolshevik party. The Bolsheviks had strong support in the soviets; however, in elections to a competing body, the Constituent Assembly, the Bolsheviks failed to win a majority in the November 1917 elections and a Socialist Revolutionary was elected President in January 1918. The Bolsheviks, favoring soviets, ordered the Constituent Assembly to be dissolved. By August 1918 conflicts between the Bolsheviks and their political opponents had led to the banning of most other influential parties - most recently, of the Left Socialist Revolutionaries, who had been the Bolsheviks' principal coalition partner for some time, but had organized a revolt in July because of their opposition to the Brest-Litovsk Peace Treaty. Kaplan decided to assassinate Lenin.

According to official accounts, on August 30, Lenin was speaking at a Moscow factory called "Hammer and Sickle". As Lenin left the building and before he entered his car, Kaplan called out to him. When Lenin turned towards her, she fired three shots. One passed through Lenin's coat, the other two hit him in the left shoulder and jaw.

Lenin was taken back to his living quarters at the Kremlin. He feared there might be other plotters planning to kill him and refused to leave the security of the Kremlin to seek medical attention. Doctors were brought in to treat him but were unable to remove the bullets outside of a hospital. Despite the severity of his injuries, Lenin survived. However, Lenin's health never fully recovered from the attack and it is believed the shooting contributed to the strokes that incapacitated and later killed him.

Kaplan was taken into custody and interrogated by the Cheka. She made the following statement:

My name is Fanya Kaplan. Today I shot at Lenin. I did it on my own. I will not say from whom I obtained my revolver. I will give no details. I had resolved to kill Lenin long ago. I consider him a traitor to the Revolution. I was exiled to Akatui for participating in an assassination attempt against a Tsarist official in Kiev. I spent 11 years at hard labour. After the Revolution, I was freed. I favoured the Constituent Assembly and am still for it.

When it became clear that Kaplan would not implicate any accomplices, she was shot dead on September 3, 1918.

. . .
An official decree for Red Terror was issued only hours after the Kaplan shooting, calling for "a merciless mass terror against all the enemies of the revolution." In the next few months, about 800 Right SRs and other political opponents of Bolsheviks were executed without trial. During the first year the scope of Red Terror expanded significantly and the number of executions grew into the thousands.

With regard to the Red Terror:
The campaign of mass repressions was officially initiated as retribution for the assassination of Petrograd Cheka leader Moisei Uritsky, and attempted assassination of Vladimir Lenin by Fanya Kaplan on August 30, 1918. While recovering from his wounds, Lenin instructed: "It is necessary - secretly and urgently to prepare the terror" Even before the assassinations, Lenin was sending telegrams "to introduce mass terror" in Nizhny Novgorod in response to a suspected civilian uprising there, and "crush" landowners in Penza who protested, sometimes violently, to requisition of their grain by military detachments:
"Comrades! The kulak uprising in your five districts must be crushed without pity ... You must make example of these people.
(1) Hang (I mean hang publicly, so that people see it) at least 100 kulaks, rich bastards, and known bloodsuckers.
(2) Publish their names.
(3) Seize all their grain.
(4) Single out the hostages per my instructions in yesterday's telegram. Do all this so that for miles around people see it all, understand it, tremble, and tell themselves that we are killing the bloodthirsty kulaks and that we will continue to do so ...
Yours, Lenin.
P.S. Find tougher people."

-wikipedia
(emphasis mine)
Communist leader Grigory Zinoviev declared in mid-September of 1918:

To overcome of our enemies we must have our own socialist militarism. We must carry along with us 90 million out of the 100 million of Soviet Russia's population. As for the rest (i.e. the other 10 million people), we have nothing to say to them. They must be annihilated.
-wikipedia
And who is Grigory Zinoviev?
Between 1903 and the fall of the Russian Empire in February 1917, he was a leading Bolshevik and one of Lenin's closest associates, working both within Russia and abroad as circumstances permitted.
...
After the murder of Sergei Kirov on December 1, 1934, which started Stalin's Great Purges, Zinoviev, Kamenev, and their closest associates were once again expelled from the Communist Party and arrested in December 1934. They were tried in January 1935 and were forced to admit "moral complicity" in Kirov's assassination. Zinoviev was sentenced to 10 years in prison and his supporters to various prison terms.

In August 1936, after months of careful preparations and rehearsals in Soviet secret police prisons, Zinoviev, Kamenev, and 14 others, mostly Old Bolsheviks, were put on trial again. ...Like other defendants, Zinoviev was found guilty and executed on August 25, 1936.

Notes:
  • Kaplan originally supported Lenin
  • Lenin was shot by one of his own, who had soured on him.
  • Kaplan was killed by people she'd once supported.
  • The Red Terror was being planned even before Kaplan's attack.
  • Immediately after the attempt, the Red Terror was unleashed against people judged to be guilty because of their social class, not their deeds.
  • Zinoviev summarizes the objective of the Red Terror and is a strong advocate.
  • Zinoviev soured on his leaders from time to time.
  • Zinoviev was arrested at the start of The Great Purge (which is just another form of the Red Terror).
  • Zinoviev was killed by those same leaders.
Nothing like that could ever happen here...could it?

All this sets up a warning which will be posted here soon.

Which way are you facing?

Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The Thick Plottens

I told you to keep your eye on this story.  Predictably, there's more news to report.  Story from The Daily Journal, Murfreesboro, TN.
A group of congregation members were at the site looking at the damage done to construction equipment over the weekend when they heard nine shots fired from two directions.

Around 3:15, they reported hearing six shots coming from one direction, and about three minutes later they heard three more shots from another direction, said Saleh Sbenaty, a congregation member and MTSU professor.

He wasn’t sure if the shots were being fired at the Muslim group, but in the aftermath of the weekend vandalism, he said they felt it necessary to report.
about three minutes later...
In other words, we were so scared that we didn't leave after the first shot and instead waited for three more minutes.  During which time we thought, "Hey, since the feds are already involved, we'll make a police report and throw this into the mix as well-just for a laugh."

Did you perform the CW2 exercise?  There are farmlands around this area.  It's rural.  Imagine that, gunshots heard in the countryside.  What's the big deal?

I wonder if their God will be upset with them?  If dying for the faith guarantees them a reward and 72 virgins and all that, then might calling the cops might be a sign of apostasy or lack of faith?  Just saying.

Watch for the mosqueteers to continue the mosquerade-tarring the neighbors as this goes along.

Forehead

“I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead.”

But it sure would be cheaper than spending several million dollars fending off legal challenges that would be simply and easily answered by a single piece of paper that proved a live birth in Queen Hospital...or is it Kapolani?

Uh, excuse me, Mister Pres__ent, Glenn Beck has already told America that the birth certificate issue is "the dumbest thing I've ever heard".  Must be his pragmatism coming through.  So knowing that Beck doesn't care about the birth certificate issue, why do you bring it up?  Hmmmm?

We here at The Cliffs of Insanity hereby open the contest.  What would you most like to see on Obama's forehead?  Better yet, a two-fer.  What would you most like to see on Glenn Beck's forehead?

Obama, removing Hawaii certificate of live birth from forehead.

Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Ground Zero?

An article from The Daily News Journal in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Islamic Center spokeswoman Camie Ayash said that Islamic Center officials were contacted by the sheriff's department around 1:30 a.m. Saturday in reference to the damaged equipment. It appeared gasoline had been poured on several pieces of equipment at the site and one was lit on fire.
Meanwhile, Fox17 News reported Friday that Laurie Cardoza-Moore, a spokeswoman for a group opposing the new Islamic Center, has received death threats since she began speaking out against the mosque. She told Fox17 she believes the threats are in direct response to her opinions about the mosque.
later...
Rutherford County resident Kevin Fisher, who has led protest efforts against the mosque ...issued a statement,  "I believe it's important to withhold premature judgment, accusations or wild speculation until law enforcement has had an opportunity to do their investigation, and all relevant facts are made known."
Translation: Let's not exercise premature judmgent, accusations, and wild speculation.  Leave that for the FBI and ATF to do through the press.  They will make the premature judgment, accusations, wild speculation, etc. up until the time they secure a conviction and hanging at a fair trial or run a page 14, 6 point font story about insurance fraud or false flag operation.  Let's assume that this is a simple vandalism for a minute.

Is Murfreesboro, Tennessee Ground Zero? Well, why not?

Seeing that the press only cares for their own in certain enclaves like San Francisco, Washington, New York City, Chicago, et al*, seeing that the government will invariably preach that Islam is a religion of peace and that the burden is on Americans to "coexist" with people who want to kill America and Americans, seeing that the US government is led by a Pres__ent who bows to a sheik like a slave to his master, seeing how the Madame of the House believes that we should have criminal investigations into any dissent or disagreement with putting a mosque on the same ground where several thousand Americans were slaughtered, it may just be that some people are beginning to get the not-so-subtle hints that are being dropped.  That the government will offer them no redress or help of any kind.  Thus any redress or relief will have to be self-obtained.

* - I offer as exhibit 1, this AP story.  5 sentences.  Think this might be a little more in-depth if it had happened at 10048 instead of 37130?

If I can make it there
I'll make it anywhere...

In the vein of the song, "New York, New York", it may also be clear to some that if our government refuses to stop a mosque at 10048, then they won't stop another one anywhere else.  Where people like Rep. Anthony D. Weiner (heh heh, Anthony...'Da Weiner...he heh)  seem more upset about stopping benefits than stopping a mosque at Ground Zero, the picture becomes clearer still.

If this event is in fact a message being sent, I wonder who's the receipient?  I noticed there was no mention of real property damage other than to the construction equipment. It might be that the construction company is the intended reciepient of the message here, not the mosque.  Remember this story about New York hardhats refusing to build the mosque at ground zero?  I wonder if a similar outcome might not be in the cards for this particular project in Tennessee?  I wonder if any of the hardhats on this project might be persuaded to say no to the job?  Just sayin'...

One final thought; Go to google maps at the intersection of Veals Road and Brandywine Pike, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. (They mention it in the article.)  Turn on street view and then do a virtual cruise of the area.  The picture may be a few years old, but it should be accurate enough for this exercise.  Go down a few of the residential streets in the area around this intersection and make an honest assessment of what you see.  Cars in the driveway, trucks?  Build of the house, slab on grade or basement?  Multi-story?  Garages?  How many?  Underground or above ground utilities?  Boats?  RVs?  Entrance to the neighborhood-signage, fancy or plain?  All that to say, where do you think that this area lies on the CW2 cube in terms of wealth, skin color, and location?  Do you think the Muslims building this mosque live and work in the same part of the cube, or in a very different area of the cube?  Just a thought.

It will be interesting to watch how this case is pre-tried in the press.

Brad Pitt puts the "execute" in "executives!

Story at BigHollywood here.

Brad Pitt.  Stud mofo.  Philisopher.
You know, I've never been for the death penalty for those who make bad movies before.  But I'm willing to rethink that.

Six days on the road...

and I'm a gonna be here for another 3 months.

There's just too many possibilities for captions here:
  • How do you say, "We have great big convoy, backed up across nation" in Cantonese?
  • "How 'bout ye northbounder, you got a smoky report, come on?"
  • East bound and down, 18 wheels with flat spots...
  • Get your motor running...head out on the highway
  • America has American Idol, China has Chinese Idle
  • Note that the very first truck on the right is making a key lane change that will allow him to put that hammer DOWN!
Story here.
On Sunday, the eighth day of the near-standstill, trucks moved just over a kilometer (less than a mile) on the worst section, said Zhang Minghai, a traffic director in Zhangjiakou, a city about 150 kilometers (90 miles) northwest of Beijing. China Central Television reported Tuesday that some vehicles had been stuck for five days.
No portable toilets were set up along the highway, leaving only two apparent options — hike to a service area or into the fields.
But there were no reports of violent road rage, and the main complaint heard from drivers was about villagers on bicycles making a killing selling boxed lunches, bottled water to drink and heated water for noodles.

A bottle of water was selling for 10 yuan ($1.50), 10 times the normal price, Chinese media reports said
Would someone please tell Thomas "The Mustache" Friedman
One-party autocracy certainly has its drawbacks. But when it is led by a reasonably enlightened group of people, as China is today, it can also have great advantages.
In other news, I seem to remember that China recently overtook the US as the #1 automarket in the world and that GM was now selling more cars in China than the US-which can only be good for both countries!  (If you have links, I'll take 'em, if not, don't ruin this, I'm on a roll like Blutarsky's speech about when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.)

If both of these are true then the joke is truly on the Chinese who will soon be stuck with Government Motors legendary quality.

It just makes me want to rewrite Dinah Shore's old "See The USA in Your Chevrolet!" commercial-except for that whole, not speaking Cantonese thing which hasn't changed since I started this post.

The next time we see a traffic jam like this, it might be several million Chevrolets broken down in the middle of the road where too many of them tried to see the PRC in their GMC.

Remember good old days when Asian countries used to send crappy cars over to the US?  Ah, payback is such a bitch.

The Council of Elrond

Can't embed this, but it's another "You are here!" moment from The Lord Of The Rings.  Link here
  • The Black Speech of Mordor may yet be heard in every corner of the west ("if we screw this up" Gandalf doesn't have to add).  (1:27)
  • You have only one choice. (3:37)
  • One of you must do this. (4:29)
  • The quarrel begins. (5:08)  (You are here!)
  • While they bicker, Sauron's power grows. (5:35)
  • I will take it (6:00).
  • The bickering doesn't stop until someone steps forward to do what Elrond has correctly told them must be done (6:07).
Now might also be a good time to review the four Appleseed safety rules:
  1. Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
  2. Do not load until given the load command.
  3. Keep your finger off the trigger until the sights are on the target.
  4. Make sure those around you follow the safety rules.

CEASE FIRE!  CEASE FIRE!  CEASE FIRE!  UNLOAD AND CLEAR!

RTC 3

From Dan "The Frickin' MAN" Almond, it's time to begin RTC 3

What:
3rd round of Restore the Constitution open carry rallies
When:
October 30th, the Saturday before the elections

Where:
Your hometown, in the most visible firearms carry legal location possible (In my case that will be Little Five Points, Atlanta)

Who:
You and anyone else ready to get started on some “Second Amendment remedies”

Why:
1) To practice gathering together while armed.
2) To show friends, foes, and neutrals alike what can be done and to what extent Second Amendment rights can be used and to know where they stand.
3) To bring attention to the fact that the Constitution is being violated in multiple ways. It’s one thing to debate online; it’s quite another to speak to the public or the media while carrying a weapon.
___________________

It is noted here with great pleasure that Georgia recently repealed the public gathering law which would have prohibited just such a public gathering.  Keep it rolling!

I cannot wait to see the hyperventilating of Boortz, CNN, WSB, and others in Atlanta.

401k withdrawals spike

Story on CNN.com.
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Hardship withdrawals from 401(k) retirement saving plans rose to the highest level in 10 years during the second quarter, Fidelity Investments said on Friday, in the latest sign of a dismal economy.
Fidelity reported that, as of the second quarter, 2.2% of all 401(k) participants had made a hardship withdrawal at some point over the preceding 12 months. That's up from 2% in the prior year, and was the highest level in 10 years.

At the same time, the percentage of 401(k) participants that had an outstanding loan from their account rose to a record high of 22% in the second quarter.

Note what this article doesn't talk about.  Outright withdrawals of certain dollar amounts.  It's implied in the title of the article, but the body never discusses this.

Could it be that some people are readying themselves for the biggest tax increases in history coming in 2011?  (PDF version here

Could it be that some are cognizant of the greedy little government fingers already reaching for their IRAs and 401ks.  We've talked about that before here at The Cliffs.  You may want to read/reread this post which includes links to financial sources much wiser than I am.

As always, make your own decisions.  I'm no financial advisor, past performance does not indicate future results, squeeze from the bottom, results may vary, void where prohibited, and do not use this product near open flame.

ARRA Logo questions

1) "Those gears in the red section are different.  Why?"  They are not gears.  Go field strip your AR-15 and look at the face of the bolt carrier assembly.  Does replacing a harmless gear with an AR-15 bolt face substantially change the meaning of this pictograph?  It's supposed to.  I told you this was subtle and elegant.

Don't feel bad about being stumped.  Believe me, you're in good company.  That "lightbulb" moment is exactly what was intended.  But try not to spoil the CFC bulb moment for the opposition.  With a little luck, they'll figure it out on their iPhone after they drive past and crap their pants in their Chevy Volt.

2) "The III doesn't fit into the blue circle."  But you still recognized it as a Roman numeral III, right?  It's exactly where it's supposed to be.

3) "That's nice, but it should be digital camo."  I wasn't the first and certainly won't be the last to parody.  A brief search will confirm this.  Any number of icons could fit in any number of combinations on this logo.  So let a thousand flowers bloom; By all means if you have a great idea for parody of this logo-then go forth and create one.

Senator John Blutarsky issues a Letter of Marque and Reprisal against ARRA signs.

Story at Sipsey Street.

One other possibility for reprisal against ARRA signs is to simply hijack the image.

Like so...

It could be scaled to just about any diameter.  Any size from ARRA road signs to elevator door buttons.  Just saying....

I think it's elegant.  Subtle to the opposition, but unmistakeably direct to our friends.  Oh by the way, the recovery.gov logo was produced using your tax-payer dollars so you can modify it and mock it to your heart's content.

Enjoy,

White Hat/Black Hat

I would be remiss not to at least offer up a position on where I stand with respect to the White Hat/Black Hat post from Mike.  I've linked both Baugh and Vanderboegh and you deserve better of me than a "present" vote.

Reaching for the Nation of Islam with one hand and Stormfront with the other seems a lot like grasping the positive and negative electrodes in opposite hands.  A brief, electrifying experience.

The best I can do is to reach out to those in my own "circle of influence" where I am effective.  The farther I reach, the less influence I have.  As others within my circle are convinced though, they can then effectively extend my reach to groups and areas where I would otherwise be ineffective.  I will reach out where it makes sense.

It was actually something Temnota commented at Sipsey Street which crystallized this for me (BTW: this is getting added as a memorable quote and link);
Don't make common cause with people you will eventually have to shoot.
Extending on this idea; Why make common cause with people who deep down really want to shoot me and mine?  Any trust built is based on defeating a common foe. Once that's done, then what?  It would merely be a race to see which of us could train our guns on the other fastest.  Sort of like the Allies relationship, risks, and decisions regarding the USSR during and after WWII.

There are some things that I can't live without. Some things which mean more than life. Honor and principle dropped for expediency cannot be easily recovered or restored (sometimes not at all). If that means that I perish for principles, then I shall retain my honor and consider myself in good company.  I don't have to survive, but I have to live

Tom Baugh expresses some great thinking in his book, Starving The Monkeys.  He disclaims it as fiction right from the start and at several points throughout.

Mike Vanderboegh expresses some great thinking in his forthcoming novel, Absolved.  He introduces it as a work of fiction, but offers it as a clear warning.

Here's the Grand Irony that I see;
  • If Starving The Monkeys remains fiction, then Absolved will almost certainly become reality.
  • If Starving The Monkeys were made into reality, then Absolved would almost certainly remain fiction.

More Soundtracks

Unlike Clinton, Obama did inhale.
Barry O in his "Hussein the Pimp" starter hat
This morning, Pete gave us the Poet in Chief's 1981 poem Pop-which will not be repeated here because this is a family channel...dammit.  Who knows what the hell he's trying to tell us.

I usually have a song in my head.  Where Obama is concerned, it's this one from Steely Dan.

Only A Fool Would Say That
A world become one
Of salads and sun
Only a fool would say that
A boy with a plan
A natural man
Wearing a white stetson hat
Unhand that gun begone
There's no one to fire upon
If he's holding it high
He's telling a lie

CHORUS:
I heard it was you
Talkin' 'bout a world
Where all is free
It just couldn't be
And only a fool would say that

The man in the street
Draggin' his feet
Don't wanna hear the bad news
Imagine your face
There in his place
Standing inside his brown shoes
You do his nine to five
Drag yourself home half alive
And there on the screen
A man with a dream

CHORUS

Bridge:
Anybody on the street
Has murder in his eyes
You feel no pain
And you're younger
Than you realize

CHORUS

Up Up and Away!

At the same time Global Guerrillas is noticing new UAV tech, Sipsey Street reveals the ATF's latest aerial recon platform.  I include both links here just for the contrast and to get back into the blogging groove-if there is such a thing.

What this needs is a theme song!

I would try to rewrite some lyrics for this, but since 97.32% of all songs from the 1960s are about drugs or getting high, it's probably not necessary.

The Creeping Catastrophe Part V

I decided to continue this series on the premise that the oil well resumed its previous gushing and the Federal government resumed its previous ineptitude and inaction.

Those beach bums at the edge of the brewing melee saw what was coming and backed off. Some of them had already laid hands on the locals and thrown a punch or two and needed a little more encouragement. Chambering a 12 gauge round in a Mossberg 500 was clearly well known to many of the bums.

"Gentlemen, the party is over. Get away from my friends and get the hell out of here", the Mossberg man announced. They got the message this time and backed away. They began scooping up the now sandy, dirty ice to try and preserve it along with the beer. The Mossberg man told them, "Uh-uh fellas. Leave the beer and the ice. You walk out empty handed and never come back." Messing with their beer really riled up the beach bums who laughably began to whine about their property, their money that they had used to buy their beer. The older gentleman with an M-1 stepped to the fore and proceeded to lecture them, "Property!? Well this here is my property and seeing as how all that is on my property, it's also my property."

The beach bums then got indignant. Even though they were armed, the beach bums looked into the eyes of these armed men facing them and made a fatal error. They mistook the locals' fear of firing to be cowardice. The biggest and baddest of the locals had on his "Union Till I Die" wife beater with the predictable skull and American flag. "Well the way I see it grandpa, you ain't got but 9 rifles and you ain't going to get all of us. Especially not when I'm this close!", he said as he closed the distance between himself and the old man. The rest of the bums followed his lead. At very close range action favored them, not the long rifles-especially if they weren't already aimed.

The news crew was already rushing in with their cameras on to close the distance. The news crew was physically to the left and behind the beach bums due to the geography and the lay of the beach. And they saw it first.

In a Pulitzer winning moment,  other bums would show up at the local hospital later with wounds.

Almost instantly, the feed went out nationally, then internationally. The timing was fortuitous for the residents because as the feed was going out live, a slew of police cruisers, a SWAT team that had somehow maintained their funding, HMMWVs, trucks, and Army Blackhawks converged on the area. National Guard troops got there first, began barking orders and assaulting the residents, handcuffing them and dragging them away while the few beach bums who remained there were largely ignored.

A general strike across the entire Gulf then ensued. The beach bums refused to clean (those few who had been doing anything) and the businesses refused to open. Demonstrations were held from Brownsville to Perdido as Gulf residents vented their anger. The time of the tea party was over. The time of the tar party had arrived. To the surprise of the Czar, the National Guard leadership, and the beach bums, the demonstrations now consisted not only of residents who stayed behind, but those who had left earlier. 20,000 people rallied in Gulf Shores alone. 40,000 in Mobile. Another 15,000 in Gulfport. Nearly 50,000 in Houston. Worse for them, many others who lived within a day's drive of the beach decided to rifle up and make the trek themselves in a show of solidarity. Many had driven in not knowing anyone in the area, but hoping to link up with friends, bring some supplies, and stand with them. There were also some rough looking characters that came down. But these men knew what they were about and understood the importance of what was happening. Try as they might, the press could not ignore these demonstrations that had sprung up almost overnight and had shut down an entire region.

The demonstrators surrounded the camps of the beach bums and demanded that they leave. They harassed and heckled them. And they came armed. National Guard units found themselves facing armed men who had decided that they weren't leaving until the beach bums went home. And though they may have outgunned the residents, they found themselves in an unusual position of being outnumbered and surrounded-dependent largely on hijacking Wal-Mart trucks. The plan was to round up every armed gathering that they could, take their weapons and destroy them. But with the news cameras covering everything, they could never be sure of exactly what would go out. The plan was put on hold for another time. Worse, the National Guard units now began to face not only those angry residents, but police forces that stood behind them. Many sheriffs along the coast had decided to deputize some of the same angry residents to help them control the situation and police the streets.

Many locals who had previously been robbed by the beach bums now had the authority to arrest them-which they did. Locals who had earlier been roughed up by these same National Guardsmen were now lawful police authority standing across from them. "Just observing", they would say, but the message could not have been clearer. "Get the hell out of here." One by one, the camps of beach bums were given escorts out of the area by the guard. The Czar had at least the sense to start easing the tension with the locals by getting the thorn out of their sides. And since it happened in one area, similar demonstrations happened elsewhere. At least the beach bums were gone.

Many Apologies

I've been lax in feeding the blog lately and that's not by design or by accident.  Last week in the space of 2 days I had the opportunity to do the following:
  • Briefly view some remote (and therefore desirable) real estate.
  • Have dinner with the Concerned American and hand off some signs that went to the Greensboro RTC.
  • Stop by Historic Arms to visit with a master firearms designer and builder.
  • Pick up a working rotary phone ($7).
  • Visit some of our very best friends in the world who are moving to a new part of the country.
The weekend was all Appleseed.

I love what Beck had to say about rebuilding a tractor (link):
People can bullshit each other -- and even themselves -- over concepts in all sorts of ways. When concepts are forged in steel, that becomes impossible. You don't get to bullshit your way around a 5/8" bolt.
Word.

Likewise with Appleseed, you can't BS your way around good shooting.  You've been trained and taught, but it's up to you to make it happen.

I have one more trip out of town tomorrow and then perhaps I can get things rolling regular again here at The Cliffs.  I don't say this often enough to my readers, but thanks for reading.  Even if you don't like or agree with what you read here, thanks for stopping by.

The weekend

I did not make it to the RTC rally in North Carolina, but I'm glad everything went well.

And I love the motto; Proving the bastards wrong, one Armed Rally at a time.  Put the hell to the yeah.

This weekend my home was on the range at Appleseed.  Some great fun and great shooting.  Nothing as eyepopping as a head shot and a groin shot to a plastic army man at 25 yards.  Instead, just smooth consistent improvement.  Saturday I put 5 rounds of 22 LR into 3 holes that were mostly inside a 1" box at 25 yards.  Shot a 188 on the first AQT.  I failed to fire 5 rounds on the second string for 25 missed points which would have gotten the patch.  208 on the second and final Saturday AQT.  2 fliers cost me a winning score there.

Sunday for a zero-in, I put 5 rounds into 4 holes all of them inside the black box.  A number of shots were doubles that overlapped a previous shot.  With just a few shooters, we got the chance to do some intense 1:1 training and critique of everything we were doing right and wrong which included the observation from Friedenmeister, "You need a cheek riser."  I hadn't thought about it until he said it, but once the facelift kit was on there, I could do the same thing with a lot less stress.  Awesome!  Some ball and dummy drill, NPOA drill, carding the sights, all good stuff.  After lunch it was AQT time.

216.

I didn't make it to RTC, but I did make good use of my long arms this weekend.

If you build it...

...they will come.

The corollary of the collective might best be described as, "If you offer handouts, you will never have enough."

Jesus performed a miracle of feeding 5000 men (sorry, the Bible doesn't tell us how many women and children also got fed) with 5 loaves and 2 fishes.  His disciples even gathered up the fragments that remained.  What Jesus did was to multiply a little to meet the needs of many.  The government works the opposite way.  Allow me to illustrate:

Where Jesus had disciples to carry the loaves and fishes to the people, government expects the people to form a nice orderly line to come before government and ask for what they need.

Where Jesus took a little and multiplied it to fill many, with no question asked, and even collects crumbs, government takes much away from those who are not yet filled, then turns this into crumbs which they ration out carefully and with many questions.

We are the change we've been waiting for - Barack Hussein Obama

Today in Atlanta, the government offered crumbs (story here)
Thirty thousand people showed up to receive Section 8 housing applications in East Point Wednesday, suffering through hours in the hot sun, angry flare-ups in the crowd and lots of frustration and confusion for a chance to receive a government-subsidized apartment.

The massive event sometimes descended into a chaotic mob scene filled with anger and impatience. Some 62 people needed medical attention and 20 of them were transported to a hospital, authorities said. A baby went into a seizure in the heat and was stabilized at a hospital. People were removed on stretchers and when a throng of people who had been waiting hours in a line were told to move to another line, people started pushing, shoving and cursing, witnesses said.

Still, officials of East Point declared the day a success. Nobody was arrested and nobody was seriously injured, they said. It was an assessment roundly challenged by many of the people who had to go through it.
Nobody was arrested, nobody was seriously injured.  Only 17,000 people were turned away with nothing.  That equals success for liberals.

Now use your imagination.
  • What if they announced that they would be doing this at the Wal-Mart a bare 2 miles from your house.
  • What if this was for food instead of Section 8 housing?  Would there be more than 30k people show up?  Would there be no serious injuries or arrests?  How well would this go of greater than half of the people were turned away empty?
  • What if someone made an announcement that there would be free food or "Obama Money" being given...2 miles from your house?  I'm sure that no one in government would do such a thing on purpose or ever make such an error...would they?
I can't find the story, but I seem to remember a recent story about a food bank somewhere in the US that had a near riot because someone pranked the announcement and they had way more demand than supply.  (If you have the link, send it, I'll put it here because it totally goes with this post.)

This is but a preview of things to come.  Remember the CW2 cube and that people can move through numerous areas of the cube as they go about their day-simply by where you are, and who is around you.  Could your relative position on the cube change by virtue of who comes into your AO?

Updated: Thanks to Anon; here is the link to the story I was thinking of.  It was a food bank in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Story here.

Hillary for VP!

Story here

This is what I like to call, "buyer's remorse."

Consider again this "story". Do you think the timing is coincidence-with their party in Epic Fail polling for November? Don't forget your journolists either.  Neither the storyline, nor the timing are anything other than planned, controlled, calculated spin-floating an idea that they think will help.

The truth is that the Democrats-so eager to be shed of the Clintons chose Obama.  The bad news is that they replaced one cult of personality with another.  Obama makes a great pinata to whack for all that's going on right now, but let's get real, would Hillary have done it any differently?  Don't believe the hype.

Another angle on this is Hillary's temper.  You think Hillary will seek revenge against those of her own party that supported Obama?  Hell hath no fury like a woman who's been scorned and thrown under the Prius.  Perhaps by "repenting" of their "sin" of helping Obama, they can beg mercy from Hillary.

Look for more such "stories" as the Democrats spiral downward.

Reality Beckons (Government Pensions)

Are you on a pension?  Do you know someone on a pension?  Then Karl Denninger has some really bad news for you.
  • Unfunded pension liabilities are approximately $2.5 trillion, compared to the reported amount of $493 billion.
  • Unfunded liabilities for health and other benefits are $558 billion, compared to the reported $537 billion.
  • Thus, total unfunded liabilities for all benefit plans are an estimated $3.1 trillion — nearly three times higher than the plans report.
If you need this translated, it's very simple:
You're not going to get the money you think you were promised.

If you're a government employee and are counting on some sort of pension plan, get over it.

The money does not exist.

It cannot be acquired.

If you scream about "But the state constitution says we're protected!" I will simply remind you that it is easier to change a State Constitution than it is make money that doesn't exist magically appear.

Literally

Oh, and remember my admonition.  They are coming.

Photography Is Not a Crime: Open Carry Demonstration + RTC 8-14

Okay, it's open carry of cameras.  But if you read the prior account of Carlos Miller's run in with the Miami Dade Metrorail Po Po then you you'll know that 1) It's not illegal for anyone to photograph the trains for non-commercial purposes.  and 2) The metrorail police apparently didn't know the rules and gave him a hard time about it.

Miller then organized a gathering of liberty minded individuals to go to Miami Dade Metrorail stations with their cameras for a photo protest.

Sounds like they had a great success.  Bravo!

Review:
1) Authoritah didn't know their own rules.
2) Authoritah abused a citizen of his rights and his property.
3) Citizen organizes a host of friends to exercise their rights together.
4) Authoritah knew they were coming.
5) Citizens in a group were treated correctly.

Now replace "cameras" with "guns".

At the Sunday leaders walkdown for the RTC 4-19 rally, one member openly carried his rifle onto the field at Gravelly Point.  The bad news was that the police hadn't been briefed on what was coming on 4-19 and this led to a few tense moments with the National Park Police.  The good news is that a quick but tense education session was held and all of those citizens went right on their merry way with no charges, no confiscation, no trampling of rights.  Rights must be exercised.

Though I won't be making the trip to either event, I wish all the participants well and pray for a safe and successful day for both.
In miller's case, the Miami authoritah knew that the demonstration was coming-even had extra presence there, but there was no problem.  I would like to think that there would be no more harrassment from the rail popo of anyone exercising this right.  Their demonstration is a necessary pushback against overreach by the government.  Rights exercised to their fullest extent will clarify both the position of and relationship between the citizen and the authoritah

Run Away From The Plantation

WRSA post

Runaway Slave trailer

Donald Sensing has some great thoughts here.

If Runaway Slave has a soundtrack, then I might propose this song for the soundtrack.  Native Son by John Hiatt.

You finally found the mainstream
In the middle of your life
You tapped into a vein
Of endless gold chains
Now you’re locked up tight
Tearing down the middle of it
Splitting it right in half
Bobbing up and down the waves
Like a runaway slave
On a Huck Finn raft

Chorus:
Take your wife
Take your family
Take your gun
Running through the woods
And the burned out neighborhoods
Looking for someone
A member of your tribe
A place you can hide
’til the war has begun
’cause in the fields before the flood
You’ll be spilling blood
Like a native son

Where you gonna run to
There ain’t no underground
If only you could fly
You’d cut across the sky
Like a rifle round
Oh, who are your people
And where is your homeland
’cause they’re dying side by side
At the river of pride
Where we tried to take a stand

The song may have some applicability for all of us when TSHTF.

Bracken's CW2 cube was also on my mind as I saw the Runaway Slave trailer-and another thought with respect to the cube.  Many of those on the outer corners don't easily let others join them.

I can't tell you how incensed it made me to hear Eric Holder whine that we're a nation of cowards that can't talk about race.  The way it works in this country now is that we are talked at about race.  People talk at us about race, but don't talk to us.  Or listen.  Constantly.  You get it from the media.  You get it at work.  Example, many years ago, the League of Evil had a picture in the company newsletter of a couple of high ranking executives in our company standing on a stage at an employee gathering.  They were with none other than the race hustler and extortionist himself, Jesse Jackson.  (If you want to know the real Jackson, I recommend Shakedown by Kenneth Timmerman.)  They were on the stage, the executives flanking him and all of them with their arms raised together in the air.  Which presumably was some sort of signal of unity.  Or surrender to whatever demands the Rainbow Coalition had this year.  The real key was the look on Jackson's face.  He had a look of angry victory on his face.  Like a linebacker that just made a crushing hit to force a fumble and stands over the player he just leveled.  What this picture told me was that in essence, the LOE was Jackson's bitch.  We'd do exactly what he wanted in regards to giving them money and improving the Diversity! of the company.  Strange that Holder should talk about wanting more conversation around race.  His boss isn't interested in a level playing field, but clearing the playing field

Another CW2 Cube question; What would happen to those on the outer edges if a critical mass of us from the darker-whiter, richer-poorer, urban-rural areas met in the center and then exerted pressure outward instead of inward?  You think maybe there's a reason why folks both black and white want to strangle off all discussion about race and instead perpetuate stereotypes that benefit them alone?  Hmmmmm.
