What the founders intended

Some have suggested that in the day of the founders, the best weapon available was a musket and therefore this is all that we should be allowed to have in this day. 

Oh, founders intent, huh? 

I presume then that the media will have no problem with limiting their freedom of speech to only that which they can write with quill and ink bottle on paper or a printing press. 


After all, in the day of the founders, there was no TV, no movies, no Internet, no e-mail, no twitter, no facebook, no pinterest, no instagram, no phones, no cellphones, no radios, and no telegraph. 

All other speech or thought will have to be regulated. 

Oh...no wait, that's already happening too isn't it?  Man, I've been gone too long.

Thanks to all of us who registered, we repealed Obamacare, balanced the budget, eliminated our unconstitutional gun laws (i.e. all of them), impeached, convicted, and imprisoned Obama, imprisoned Clarence Dupnik, and sent the banksters to jail for Grand Theft America.

I do not intend to forget that the NRA trotted out this crap nor to let others forget. 

The NRA has for years been painting images of the outcomes of gun grabs drawn from their long looks into the palantir.  And for years, they have implied that they and only they, the NRA, the lone soldiers of Gondor, stand between our freedoms and total disarmament.  I can only imagine what kind of progress has been retarded by these political operators who claim to support your "Second Amendment rights". 

Israel understands that if they are to remain a nation, then all their enemies need to do is succeed once.  Their defenses though must hold every time. 

The NRA has helped to shape the debate over the second amendment into precisely this mindset of an endless defensive battle where our rights are constantly under siege and where one setback could be the end of all your rights, and that only endless resupply of the besieged position can win the war.  (As opposed to a breakout move or one where the friendlies come rolling in behind those laying siege to the city.  Think "The Ride of The Rohirrim".  Think April 19, 1775.  Think Inchon.) 

Think about this; The NRA has helped to perpetuate and continue a debate that should not even be happening at all!  The Second Amendment is a restriction upon government, not a right of the governed!  Freedom offends.  What is there to "defend" in the Second Amendment!?  Instead of winning , they continue to "defend" which like in a casino is a losing game for us, but surely profitable for the house. 

So when the left proposed another assault weapons ban and potential gun grab, people went crazy calling the NRA, sending them money, and extending their memberships!!!  Isn't that the first thing you did?  Me neither.  Nor anybody else.  It didn't happen, did it?  I'd be surprised if the financial response the NRA received is 1/100th of what folks spent on guns and ammunition since Sandy Hook. 

People are grasping the idea that rights are not secured by a vote, nor subject to a vote, nor a Supreme Court ruling, nor up for debate or discussion-even by the NRA.  Instead of contacting the NRA, people "registered to vote" by buying out practically everyone of long arms and ammunition.  

I'm trying to find positives lately and they are just hard to come by.  But perhaps one positive of a gun grab is that it might effectively eliminate the NRA from the political playing field.  This would free up a lot of resources for folks to buy or build their own guns and ammunition.  See, shovel ready work right there.  Now there's some change you can believe in! 

Of course, the other side of that coin is that if the NRA isn't issuing any statements to official Washington on behalf of Americans who own firearms, those owners will be at liberty to make their own "statements".  More shovel ready work.

This song ran through my head after the ringwraiths-I mean the Supreme Court decided that Obamacare was our problem to resolve.  It came up again when the draft of the 2013 gun grab bill started to trickle out.    Billy Beck has a few choice thoughts about this song.  I'd include a link, but at the moment, his site seems to be blank.

As I was reading in Volume 2 of the Gulag, I came to a mention of a Kirov who was murdered on December 1, 1934.  The translator's notes said little, so I looked him up.

On 1 December 1934, Kirov was shot and killed by a gunman at his offices in the Smolny Institute. Some historians place the blame for his assassination at the hands of Stalin and believe the NKVD organised its execution, but any evidence for this claim remains elusive. Kirov's death served as one of the pretexts for Stalin's escalation of repression against dissident elements of the Party, culminating in the Great Purge of the late 1930s in which many of the Old Bolsheviks were arrested, expelled from the Party, and executed. Complicity in Kirov's assassination was a common charge to which the accused confessed in the show trials of the era. - Wikipedia

In reading the Gulag, it is clear that the camps were already in operation by the time the Great Purge started in 1937.  They had simply rounded up the class enemies, counter revolutionaries, anti-socialists, political prisoners, and such.  And those had been largely faceless nobodies whom nobody cared about.  Based on what I read, the memorable thing about 1937 is that this is the point where Stalin turned the secret police loose on those elements within the party.  Those closest to him who might pose any sort of challenge, dissent, or disagreement with him.  People who were well known within Russia. 

To put it another way, Stalin used those within the party to help him eliminate the real opposition.  Once that was complete, he needed to eliminate the potential opponents.  Voila!  The Great Purge. 

I see the potential for parallels here.  I just wonder which lib it will be here who takes a fall that leads to a similar campaign here?  If I'm reading it right, Kirov was a peer and potential rival of Stalin's. He favored some reconciliation and less repression.  A blue dog communist? 

So for Obama, having seemingly cleared the field of all competition from the GOP side (Bob Dole looks like a God in comparison to the leadership of John Boehner), who else in the Democratic party could be a potential rival for Obama?  I can only think of one. I sure hope she doesn't turn an ankle or get a concussion or anything like that.  Especially with all the festivities that are coming up.  Oh wait, she already has. 

Hmmmm. 

I can already see the somber funeral procession for Comrade Kiro, I mean Rodham-Clinton.  the trembling upper lip of poor William-a widower.  Why...whatever will he do!?  And poor Chelsea.  She may have to put her "journ-o-list" career on hold-go out on a "listening tour" and take her place as a parasite on the Potomac. 

And remember zeks, if you don't wail and mourn in sufficient quantity or quality, there will be trouble for you. 

On a serious note, take heed of the following:

1. The significance of what was accomplished by the elimination of Kirov by Stalin.
2. What Kirov's elimination allowed Stalin to do next.
3. What began after Kirov's elimination

When history echoes over here, be ready for another acceleration towards the abyss. 

2012 Year In Review

I've taken a break from blogging as a few of you may notice. It has simply been a rough year. I have not quit, flipped, been turned, or compromised. I have not fallen off the edge of the world, died, or had some other health misadventure. I do not currently have any arguments, beefs, bitches, or gripes with anybody out here in the III world or patriot community.   I have been severely discouraged. And I see nothing yet that is encouraging. There's plenty enough doom out there and I just didn't need more of it. 

Some personal circumstances have not gone my way and I'm being a poor sport about it.  I could try to win the argument, plead my case and all that, or I could just tell it like it is and try to move on.

Two other things have pushed me deeper down the rabbit hole. 

The first is the mini-series Amerika. I began drafting a post back in July on this and simply did not post it. It's coming soon. If you've watched it, great.  If not, go.  Watch.  It's worth the time. 

The second is that I've undertaken to read the Gulag Archipelago. Not the summarized version, but all three volumes from AlSol's pen. The man suffered enough to write all of this down and having started it and gained an appreciation of the work, I owe it to him to read it all. Volume 1 went quickly and I had some observations previously posted. Volume 2 has been tougher to read. It just shatters you. The deeper I go into this work, the more parallels I see in present day. I read some, then just watch for the parallels. I keep the highlighter handy to note these. And that's depressing indeed. I can only tell you that this reading this entire work is worthy of your time. It also might be one of the most depressing things you'll ever do.  

If you can hack it, get all three volumes and dig in. If nothing else you'll learn about a number of the approaches of attack and various avenues that will be used against you in the future. You'll learn about various modes and methods of torture. You'll learn about how good men break and crumble. How resistance evaporates. And even how people come together. 

Given the overall direction of things right now and the strong communist background and tendencies that are on display in Obama, these are the kind of writings that will tell you a lot about your future.  The main message I keep hearing is that we are all Gulag Bound. Amerika. And here you were rooting for the Mayan Apocalypse as a "third way". Thanks for nothing . . . Mayans. 

A brief review and some commentary:
Gunwalker.

A fantastic scandal uncovered and made public in the unlikeliest of means. Sort of like Bilbo Baggins finding the One Ring. The press snoozed on this for a long time. When they finally did get with it, they did little. When Washington finally did something with it, they accomplished even less. The GOP would rather use Gunwalker as another chip to be traded and used later-foolishly thinking that there will actually be a "later". This is similar to their approach in dealing with the fiscal cliff. The negotiations only take place to help their appearances-not to change the realities.

Emboldened by the support from the apparatchiks in the press, some other useful idiots, and the ineptitude of Congress to force any oversight, Team Obama has doubled down on their plans to limit and grab for guns in America. Unexpectedly!

No I mean seriously, who could have seen this coming? A Christmas time massacre at a school, in a state with strong gun control laws, while the country is teetering on the "fiscal cliff", and the potential for another lame duck, midnight session of the Senate where some cute procedural jujitsu might allow them to advance a bill to grab for everything. I would not be surprised in the least if the gun grab text finds its way into "Cliff" legislation.  (Man, what was I thinking when I chose the name of this blog anyway!?) 

Team Obama wants the law-abiding to be disarmed and the law-breakers to be armed to the teeth. (This same pattern exists in the Gulag where the thieves are invariably the willing muscle of the camp chief.  Unexpectedly!)  What better way to do this than with the 1-2 punch of Gunwalker to arm the thugs and a gun ban to disarm the lawful? For a group that proudly wears the "Never let a crisis go to waste" lapel pin, the death of Brian Terry is nothing. And since after the first one, the rest are free, what are 20 dead kindergarteners to Obama if it means that he can reach for the final piece of the holy grail? Nothing.  


Tears of a clown

Those tears from Obama aren't tears of sorrow, they are tears of joy for an event that worked beautifully in his favor. Lanza was already mentally imbalanced, but sharp enough to operate the tools. All that was needed was a little push from modern chemistry and over the cliff he goes. Professor Raoul X anyone? 

Am I suggesting that Lanza was programmed to do what he did? It's certainly possible. You can bet that if the tables were turned, the media would be trying to tie up every loose end of Lanza's life to link as many enemies to him as they could.  Given the reality of Gunwalker, this seems as credible as anything else I've heard. After all, the "Never Let a Crisis Go To Waste" crowd requires a crisis in order to take action. By definition, this phrase implies inaction until and unless the point is reached where reaction would be profitable to them politically. It's almost time for America to go over the cliff and Leviathan still doesn't have all the guns. How can the government be expected to rule and control the people, crush the bourgeois, and reward the Party if there are hundreds of millions of guns still floating around out there that might be turned against them? So why not one more mass shooting to set the stage of panic into which a gun grab might seem logical and reasonable?  

They've done almost everything else. Demoralized and decimated the military? Check. Destroy the economy and prosperity of all America? Check. Transfer the wealth from those who work and those in opposition to the non-working and Democratic Party? Check. Nationalized healthcare? The check is in the mail. Insert DHS-TSA into every facet of American life? In progress.

Cow the opposition into silence. In progress. Divide the opposition. Check. Take away their means to directly challenge our authority or do physical harm? The idea has been advanced which means that it's eventually going to happen.


I also must point out that with the Sandy Hook massacre, there's a gift-wrapped invitation from Wayne LaPierre for the government to begin policing all schools.  (Yeah, because the TSA has worked out so great.)  For the left, this is pure Charlie Sheen Winning! 

1. Federal agents with guns can walk the halls at local schools
2. The proper position of servitude of the local schools to the federal government can be further solidified
3. This DHS representative will be a key part of the school staff and thus act as a political operative within each and every local school and help to keep the schools ideologically pure by acting as either a direct or indirect influence to further crack down those elements who might bring their own convictions into schools (you know who you are).
4. It gets even better because that DHS agent can also be on the lookout for anyone who might wear camouflage to school. Anyone who might exhibit "anti-social(ist)" behavior and thus be a potential danger to snap and rampage at any moment. Pre-crime! 
5. Even better, the eyes and ears of the DHS can serve as an independent monitor and witness to pry children away from their parents using the power of the local family court.
6. And since there's a federal agent at each school, any resistance to his authoritah will be considered an offense at the federal level. 
7. Perhaps the best part though is the laughs to be had when Obama thanks Wayne LaPierre publicly for voicing the idea of an Only Ones School Police Force to be controlled and administered at the Federal level. Oh to see the looks on the faces of those NRA lifers when they realize that Obama has not hijacked Wayne Lapierre's idea, but simply implemented it to the fullest logical end state!  

"Gotta love Wayne The Pierre!  Armed Federal Agents in schools!  Thanks, Wayne!!!"

Yeah, it's been a pretty depressing, dry spell.  

On the coming gun grab:

So how will you address this? Give up? Fight them at the door? Kill them as they come through your neighborhood? Bury them and feign ignorance as to their location? Fight this legally and hope that the Ringwraiths…uh, I mean the 9 Supreme Court Justices are going to rescue you? If you do, then you'll have to surrender your guns first so that you have suffered injury. Or go to prison and hope to get freed.

At dinner with Concerned American recently I told him "Look, if you don't go to the range, don't worry, the range is coming to you." And as he correctly expanded, it will be a 2 way range.
